Brazil Launches R$40M Startup Program

According to local reports, the Brazilian Government has launched a R$40m start-up program.

Start-up Brasil aims to support the creation and accelerate the growth of approximately 150 high tech startups across the country by 2015.

The investment, which is part of the Programa Estratégico de Software e Serviços de Tecnologia da Informação (TI Maior)”, will provide the companies with funding, and support to expand their marketing and sales efforts.
