YaSabe Receives Venture Capital from Piedmont RIA

YaSabe, Inc., a Herndon, VA-based bilingual social, mobile and local search company that focuses on Hispanic consumers living in the U.S., received a venture capital investment from Piedmont RIA.

The amount of the investment, which was made by Piedmont RIA’s Militello Capital through its new venture capital fund, was not disclosed.

Led by Zubair Talib, CEO, and Azim Tejani, YaSabe allows Hispanic users search in English and Spanish to find and discover local businesses, coupons and other local information on YaSabe.com or via popular search engines such as Google, Bing or Yahoo. The company’s local and mobile search platform allows users to leave comments and ask others in the community for help and recommendations.
The company also offers location-aware mobile applications for iPhone and Android.
