Sprooki Raises $480K in Seed Funding

Reports said today that Singapore-based Sprooki, a provider of mobile solutions for retailers to engage customers, raised $480k in seed funding.

Backers include existing investor Get2Volume, and the National Research Foundation.

Launched in October 2011 by MD Claire Mula, the company provides malls and retailers with shopper analytics and location-aware campaign management tools to send messages or ads to mobile customers and shoppers in order to capture sales from them.

The company intends to use the funding to grow its presence internationally, close partnerships with Asian top malls and brands, as well as firther develop the user experience and shopper analytics feature.
