LLamasoft Raises $6.1M Funding

LLamasoft, Inc., an Ann Arbor, Mich.-based global provider of supply chain design software, has raised a $6.1m funding.

The round was led by MK Capital.

The company intends to use the capital to expand and commercialize new products, while strengthening their financial capabilities.

Led by Don Hicks, Co-founder and CEO, LLamasoft enables companies to model, optimize and simulate their supply chain network, which leads to improvements in cost, service, sustainability, and risk mitigation.
Over 50 customers are supported by the company’s offices in North America, Europe and Asia.

In conjunction with the funding, Josh Beebe, partner at MK Capital, has joined the LLamasoft board of directors.
