Cemmerce Raises $500K in Funding

According to reports, Cemmerce, a Raanana, Israel-based startup that provides an affiliate linking solution for publishers, has raised $500k in funding.

The backer is existing investor Navitrio, a holding company designed to turn digital ideas into high-growth businesses, mainly in the US, which also invested $500k in the company in 2011.

Led by co-founder and CEO Dror Liwer, who is also co-founder at Navitrio, Cemmerce is a commerce enablement platform that helps publishers and content creators generate new revenue streams from existing and future online content by automatically convert product references into live commerce links. The company’s technology allows content creators to automatically convert product references into live commerce links and let readers access to real time price comparison data, which is designed to reduce abandonment rate and increase conversion rates.
