Inspire Commerce, a Boulder, CO-based developer of a financial transaction technology platform, has closed a $500k seed funding round.
Backers include merchant services provider Axia and The Story Stock Exchange venture fund.
The company intends to use the capital to expand its product development, sales, and marketing efforts.
Led by Mark Fischer, CEO, Inspire Commerce provides merchants, customers and developers who want to transact online with an application to set up a “pay me page” and “get paid” across a number of payment options including Dwolla, Paypal, and almost any Merchant Service Provider in the U.S.
It is used by consultants, solopreneurs, lawyers, small businesses and thousands of individuals.
