iNeed Raises £50k via CrowdCube

iNeed, a UK-based online and mobile service that connects individuals who need something doing with nearby people who can do it, has raised £50k in equity crowdfunding.

12 investors have acquired a 12% stake in the company via CrowdCube.

The company intends to use the funding for platform development, mobile app development, design & user interface, management, PR/marketing, and operations & admin.

Created by Simon Grice, iNeed is creating a marketplace that connects people and businesses (requestors) with service providers (e.g. (e.g. Handymen, Plumbers, cake bakers).
It is available online and through location enabled mobile apps (iPhone & Android)
