Criteo Raises €30M in Series D Funding

Criteo, a Paris, France-based provider of performance display advertising solutions, has raised €30m in Series D funding.

The round was led by SoftBank Capital, with participation from Yahoo! JAPAN, SAP Ventures, Adams Street and Bessemer Venture Partners.

The company intends to use the proceeds to expand in Japan and throughout Asia.

In conjunction with the funding Matt Krna, Principal at SoftBank Capital, will join Criteo’s board as an observer.

Created in 2005 and led by JB Rudelle, CEO, Criteo partners with over 3,000 ecommerce brands. The company now has 15 offices across the US, Europe and Asia, serving more than 30 countries globally.
It employs more than 700 employees.
Criteo recently announced an exclusive partnership with Yahoo! JAPAN – in terms of cost-per-click personalized display advertising.
