Zenverge, Inc., a Santa Clara, California-based a fabless semiconductor company, has closed a financing of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by Verizon Investments LLC, an affiliate of Verizon Ventures, the strategic venture capital arm for Verizon Communications Inc, with participation from existing investors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the deployment of media gateways through its list of tier-1 operators. as well as to accelerate its roadmap of higher performance ICs and lower cost system solutions.
Led by CEO, Amir Mobini, Zenverge is that develops Advanced Content Networking ICs built around the patented ZEN architecture, a core technology for next generation digital media devices.
