Wallaby Financial, a Pasadena, Calif.-based digital wallet and credit card company, has raised $1.1m in funding.
The round was led by Founders Fund Angel and WI Harper Group, with participation from SLP Ventures, Lion Wells Capital, and Los Angeles-based angel investors including former Green Dot and financial services executives. In addition, Wallaby received additional backing from MuckerLab.
The company intends to use the funding to further expand and refine its program.
Led by Matthew Goldman, co-founder and CEO, and Todd Zino, CTO, Wallaby Financial has developed the Wallaby Card, a cloud-based wallet that helps consumers who hold multiple credit cards optimize their credit card rewards and benefits automatically. It also connects the user to marketing offers from merchants & banks with social mechanics.
