Universal Fuels Ltd, a London, UK-based company that supplies diesel, petrol, lubricants and kerosene nationwide to homes, petrol stations, transport companies, construction firms and a range of other businesses, has raised £50k in equity crowdfunding via Crowdcube.
Through the pitch, 126 backers have totally acquired a 4% stake in the company, which intends to use the capital to accelerate expansion plans over the next 5 years, including going into forecourt retail, international sales in lubricants, investing in its road tankers.
Founded by Oliver Morgan, Universal Fuels supplies two London airports, the London Olympics and a number of FTSE 100 companies.
