Somo, a London, UK-based independent mobile marketing company, has closed a “multi-million” dollar funding.
Backers include original business founders, a number of private investors and several employees.
The company intends to use the capital to invest in new mobile technology platforms and accelerated global growth.
Led by CEO Nick Hynes and newly appointed CFO Ben Skuse, Somo specializes in strategy, mobile web and app development, and mobile advertising campaigns.
The company has 90 employees and additional offices in Singapore, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York.
Clients include AirAsia Expedia, Paddy Power, Red Bull, Audi, News Corp, and Groupon.
