Sauce Labs, Inc., a San Francisco, California-based provider of web application testing solutions for enterprise developers, has closed a $3m Series B funding.
The round was led by Triage Ventures, with participation from Salesforce.com.
Led by CTO Jason Huggins (read his post here), and CEO John Dunham, Sauce Labs provides cloud-based testing tools that allows developers to run Selenium tests across multiple browsers in parallel without setting up or maintaining test infrastructure. Its manual testing service enable users to interactively test their websites on more than 75 browser/OS combinations while recording screenshots and videos of bugs.
The company has just launched publicly a new mobile web application testing cloud for Mac OS X, iOS and Android environments for iPad, iPhone and some Android device applications.
