Manchester, UK-based NorthEdge Capital has closed a £125m private equity fund.
Backers include institutional investors from the US, continental Europe and the Far East.
NorthEdge Capital Fund I focuses on backing mid-market companies with turnovers of between £15m and up to £150m across the North West and North of England making majority and minority equity investments of between £5m and £25m.
The fund, which is led by managing partner Grant Berry and partners Andy Ball and Ray Stenton, is sector agnostic.
