Lehigh Technologies Completes $16M in Financing

Lehigh Technologies Inc., a Tucker, Georgia-based sustainable materials company, has completed $16m in financing.

The round was led by Leaf Clean Energy, with participation from Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers, Index Ventures, and NGP Energy Technology Partners.

The company intends to use the funding to expand its geographic reach and research and development initiatives.

Led by CEO Dr. Alan Barton, Lehigh Technologies has developed micronized rubber powder (MRP) technology that transforms end-of-life tire and post-industrial rubber into new materials that are incorporated into high-performance tires, consumer and industrial plastics goods, asphalt and coatings and construction materials.
Customers include tire companies.
