Garantia Data, a Santa Clara, CA-based provider of a fully automated In-memory NoSQL Cloud for infinitely-scalable Redis and reliable Memcached, has completed a $3m seed funding.
Backers include a group of investors that also seed funded StoreWise (sold to IBM in July 2010), Zohar Gilon and The Time Innovations.
The company intends to use the funding to expand its offering.
Founded in 2011 and led by Ofer Bengal, CEO, Garantia Data provides developers with fully automated cloud services for hosting their Redis and Memcached datasets without dealing with nodes, clusters, scaling, data-persistence configuration and failure recovery, and guaranteeing absolutely no data loss.
The services are currently being offered free of charge to early adopters during the beta phase.
The company, which was recently accepted into the AWS Partner Network (APN), is currently hiring (http://garantiadata.com/careers).
