SecureData Europe Limited, a UK-based specialist IT security provider, has received an investment from August Equity LLP.
Led by Etienne Greeff, Managing Director, Matt Tomlinson, Sales Director, and Andrew Cooke, Operations Director, SecureData provides mid-market and enterprise customers with managed security services and solutions.
August has completed the management buy-out of the company (of undisclosed amount), supporting the management team to acquire it from its listed South African parent, SecureData Holdings Limited. The investment aims to supplement organic growth plans with acquisitions.
To this end, August Equity has also introduced Neville Davis as Chairman, former CEO of Compel and a serial private equity chairman in the IT services sector.
