Lucibel, a Rueil-Malmaison, France-based company that designs, manufactures and markets new-generation lighting products and solutions stemming from the LED technology (Light-Emitting Diod), has closed an additional €1.5m financing round.
The funding was provided by Aster Capital, sponsored by Alstom, Solvay Rhodia and Schneider Electric.
The investment, which is in addition to Lucibel’s previous €3.5m round finalized in mid-June, will support a commercial and technical cooperation between the french company and Schneider Electric in Europe and in Asia.
Created in 2008 by Frédéric Granotier, CEO, Lucibel markets a complete range of LED (Light Emitting Diod) lamps and fixtures in 15 countries worldwide.
