Correlsense Closes $3M Series C Funding

Correlsense, a Framingham, MA-based provider of application performance management software, has closed a $3m Series C funding.

Backers include Accel Partners, Vertex Venture Capital, ProSeed Venture Capital Fund, eXeed Technology, and Technion Research & Development Foundation.

The company intends to use the capital to expand sales and technology partner channels as well as enhance its sales and marketing teams.

Founded in 2005 and led by Ken Marshall, CEO, Correlsense develops application monitoring software for IT operations professionals who rely on heterogeneous IT. Its SharePath product suite provides visibility into where and why application problems occur, covering various protocols, platforms and end-user technologies.
Customers include large financial, telecom and retail firms.
