Analyte Health, a Chicago, IL-based company that creates Web portals to serve as online clinics that provides expert information and quality care, has closed a Series C round of venture capital funding.
Backers include Apex Venture Partners, New World Ventures and Mohr Davidow Ventures.
The company intends to use the funding, whose amount was not disclosed, to expand its product line and bolster marketing efforts.
Founded in 2007, Analyte Health delivers specialty care and counseling through their Online Clinics and a team of doctors, nurses, and more than 4,000 testing centers nationwide in the US. The company has 70 employees.
According to a written statement, the company has raised $22m in funding to date.
