SugarSync, a San Mateo, CA-based a provider of a cloud solution that help users sync their files and folders across all their devices, has received a $10m financing from ORIX Venture Finance.
The company intends to use the funding to accelerate the expansion of its datacenter presence globally.
Launched in 2008, SugarSync is used by brands such as Samsung, Lenovo, Fujitsu, SanDisk, France Telecom-Orange, Korea Telecom, SoftBank, Best Buy, etc., to bring Cloud services to their customers. It is available on the most mobile devices (iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Symbian – with Windows Phone 7 coming soon).
