Mile High Organics, a Boulder, CO-based organic online grocer, has closed a “seven-figure” seed funding.
Backers include 500 Startups and TA Venture (Ukraine), among others.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its grocery delivery service to include new products and services.
Launched in June 2010 and led by CEO Michael Joseph, Mile High Organics is a USDA certified organic online grocer that delivers more than 600 premium organic, non-genetically modified products including organic milk, produce and gluten-free items to home and office.
The company employs 40 people and is currently hiring several more positions.
