Indow Windows, a Portland, Oregon-based thermal window insert manufacturer, has closed a $1.3m Series A funding.
The round was led by Vision Ridge Partners, with participation from members of the Northwest Energy Angels (NWEA), including Brian Arbogast.
The company intends to use the funding to increase its sales, marketing, and operations efforts as part of a national expansion.
Founded in 2010 by CEO Sam Pardue, Indow Windows manufactures a thermal window insert, which is composed of a sheet of acrylic glazing edged with a patented Compression Tube. It presses into place on the inside of a window frame without requiring the installation of an interior bracket.
The company has set up dealers throughout Washington and Oregon and is in the process of setting up distribution in key markets throughout the United States.
