eMerge Health Solutions, a Mason, OH-based provider of a documentation and workflow solution that allows physicians and nurses to document procedures in real time, has closed a $850k seed funding.
Backers include CincyTech and private individuals.
Led by president and CEO Trent McCracken, eMerge Health provides intra-operative endoscopic workflow systems that enables physicians and nurses to fully document endoscopic procedures (notes, pathology requisitions, and billing information) in real-time by utilizing keyword-driven voice commands.
The company intends to use the funding for ongoing research and development to broaden its voice capabilities, and to expand the sales and implementation teams.
