Bromium Raises $26.5M in Series B Funding

Bromium, a Cupertino, CA-based micro-virtualization technology provider, has raised $26.5m in Series B funding.

Backers include Highland Capital Partners, Intel Capital, Andreessen Horowitz and Ignition Ventures.

Led by Co-founder, President and CEO Gaurav Banga, Bromium is developing micro-virtualization products (built on the Bromium Microvisor™ – a second-generation virtualization technology) that makes PCs and mobile devices trustworthy automatically blocking and discarding malware and advanced threats.
It protects data and applications at all times, allowing IT to embrace mobility and consumer use of enterprise devices.
