TRX Systems Inc., a Greenbelt, MD-based developer of infrastructure free, indoor tracking products, has raised more than $650k in funding.
Backers include New Dominion Angels, which invested $475k, the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development, which committed another $150k through the Maryland Venture Fund, and other investors.
The company intends to use the funding to make additional investments in product development and sales.
Led by President and CEO Carol Politi, TRX Systems makes software and products that locate, map and track people when indoors and in areas where GPS is not reliable.
