SolarBridge Technologies Raises $25M in Series D Funding

SolarBridge Technologies, an Austin, Texas-based provider of microinverter solutions used in AC modules, has raised $25m in Series D funding.

The round was led by Shea Ventures, with participation from existing investors Battery Ventures, Rho Ventures and Osage University Partners.

The company, which has now raised more than $71m to date, intends to use the funding to launch new hardware and software products, increase sales and marketing efforts and expand its operations globally.

Led by Ron Van Dell, president and CEO, SolarBridge provides an AC module system featuring a microinverter that matches the lifetime of solar modules, enabling manufacturers to provide a 25-year warranty.
