EyeTrackShop Closes $3M Funding

EyeTrackShop, an online eye tracking technology developer, has closed a $3m first round of funding.

The round was led by Northzone.

The company intends to use the funding to further invest in its technology and to speed up business development and international expansion.

With offices in New York, San Francisco, Stockholm and Shanghai, EyeTrackShop offers a digital platform for ad effectiveness that provides insights into visual performance of advertising and websites. Its technology enables the capturing of eye movements from a regular webcam which allows market researchers (from media owners, brand owners, agencies, etc.) to conduct online visual effectiveness tests.
Clients already includes companies like Google, P&G, AOL, Microsoft and JCDeacaux.

The company is led by Founder & CEO Mathias Plank.
