Elemental Technologies, a Portland, Oregon-based supplier of video solutions for multiscreen content delivery, has raised $13m in Series C financing.
The round was led by Norwest Venture Partners (NVP), with participation from existing investors General Catalyst, Voyager Capital and Steamboat Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to develop its products and continue to expand in the global video processing market.
Founded in 2006 by Sam Blackman, CEO, Elemental provides service providers, content programmers, broadcasters, live event producers and enterprises worldwide with video processing solutions.
Clients include Comcast, Disney and HBO
The company, which has offices in the United States, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong, has also appointed veteran Kevin O’Hara as Chairman of the Board.
