Drawbridge Raises $6.5M in Series A Funding

Drawbridge, a San Mateo, CA-based start up that is developing a self-learning cross-device solution that brings desktop-like targeting to mobile advertising, has raised $6.5m in Series A funding.

Backers include Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Sequoia Capital.

Founded in November 2010 by former Google and AdMob scientist Kamakshi Sivaramakrishnan, Drawbridge, which is officially coming out of stealth, has developed self-learning ad technology that leverages insights from cross-device behavior to enable advertisers and marketers to reach targeted mobile audiences. Its approach is built on a foundation of large-scale machine learning algorithms that correlate audience behavior across screens.
The company’s cross-device advertising platform is currently in beta. Advertisers and publishers interested in learning more can visit http://www.drawbrid.ge.
