BulkyPix, a San Francisco, CA and Paris, France-based digital entertainment provider, has received an equity financing from AXA Private Equity.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The investment, which allowed AXA to acquire a minority stake in the company, will be used to strengthen R&D department across multiplatforms (Smartphone, Facebook, Connected TV), to broaden its catalog of games and to accelerate its business development in France and wider internationally.
Created in 2008 and led by President Olivier Pierre, BulkyPix specializes in the publication of games developed for a wide range of smartphone and tablet platforms (including iOS, Android, Samsung and WP7). Its portfolio includes
titles such as Hysteria Project, My Brute, Babel Rising, Jazz: Trump’s Journey, Aby Escape, Saving Private
Sheep, and The Sandbox.
