Bluefields Joins 500 Startups Accelerator

Bluefields, a start up that is developing a free solution to organize recreational sports, has joined The Mountain View-based 500 Startups Accelerator (http://500.co/accelerator/).

The company will receive up to $100k in funding, access to a world-class network of mentors & designers in residence, platform-specific strategies for customer acquisition, workspace, etc.

Co-founded in London, UK by Andrew Crump, and Piers Rollinson, Bluefields allows users to easily organizes amateur sport, engage the audience and capture the conversation that surrounds sports teams. The company is currently developing tools to allow users to collect subs payments.
