Threadflip Secures $1.6M in Seed Funding

Threadflip, a Fashion start-up, has secured $1.6m in seed funding.

The round was led by First Round Capital and Baseline Ventures, with additional participation from Dave Morin from Slow Ventures, Forerunner Ventures, Greylock Discovery Fund and Andreessen Horowitz Seed Fund.

In conjunction with the funding, Kent Goldman from First Round Capital, has joined the company’s board of directors.

Founded in 2011, and led by CEO Manik Singh, Threadflip is a community marketplace for buying and selling apparel and accessories. It allows users to upload images of pieces straight from their closets and sell clothing, shoes, bags and jewelry, creating a vast marketplace of thousands of new pieces every day.
