TAPTAP Networks Raises €3.5M in Series A Funding

TAPTAP Networks, a Madrid, Spain-based mobile advertising network, has raised €3.5m (approximately $4,5m) in Series A funding.

Backers include Nauta Capital, which committed €3m through Nauta III Fund, and Centro Desarrollo Tecnológico e Industrial (CDTI), which injected €0,5m.

The company plans to use the funds to develop innovative products and services for publishers and mobile media users, and initiate its international expansion.
Founded in 2010 by Alvaro del Castillo, founder and CEO, TAPTAP Networks offers mobilization and monetization services to the country’s leading publishers. It operates geo-located advertising campaigns and designs and produces mobile web applications for Spain´s publishing groups and major brand advertisers.
Clients include major national and multinational brand advertisers including Mercedes-Benz, Loewe, Renault, Coca-Cola, BBVA, HP, La Caixa, P&G, Hyundai, Vodafone, Universal, Unilever and El Corte Ingles.
