PixelPin Raises £55k through CrowdCube

PixelPin, a London, UK-based provider of mobile and web security solutions, has raised 55k in equity crowdfunding through CrowdCube.

In total, thirty-four investors have acquired a 10% stake in the company.

The company intends to use the funding for product development, marketing, sales efforts.

Led by Brian Taylor and Geoff Anderson, PixelPin offers an innovative approach to mobile and web security using pictures instead of alphanumeric passwords. Rather than type in a password you select points (passpoints) on a personal picture. Its design mechanism is patent pending protected.
