Leetchi, a Paris, France-based provider of an online service for social payments, has raised €4m in funding.
Backers included Idinvest Partners and 360 Capital Partners.
The company intends to use the new funds to accelerate its development on both B2C and B2B business lines in France, and to start its international development.
Created in November 2009 by Céline Lazorthes, Leetchi.com allows users to simply and quickly collect money on collective gifts or expenses (birthdays, weddings, week ends.etc.). In October 2011, the company launched its BtoB offering, allowing other “crowd-funding” service a “white label” access to its API.
