via680, the Youngstown, Ohio-based company developer of a web-messaging tool, has received $100k in funding from the Innovation Fund.
The start up intends to use the capital to validate its technology and business concept.
Led by Tony DeAscentis (Chief Executive Officer), Stephanie Hunter (Chief Operating Officer), via680 provides a web application called Ving designed to help organizations create interactive multi-media email messages with videos, surveys, documents, audio files and pictures (see how it works here).
The Innovation Fund was founded by the Lorain County Community College Foundation to award early-stage capital to technology-based companies in Northeast Ohio.
