Gridtest Systems Inc., a Los Angeles, CA-based provider of high-value test and measurement tools for electric vehicle (EV) charging, has closed a seed funding round of undisclosed amount.
Backers include Pasadena Angels and Tech Coast Angels.
The company intends to use the capital to accelerate the launch of its first product, the EV Emulator EVE-100L system, which can run automated tests and report on the functional compatibility of electric vehicle charging stations for R&D labs of major charging system manufacturers and product suppliers in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.
The company is led by CEO and founder Neal Roche.
