gen-E, a San Clemente, Calif.-based provider of IT process automation software and services, has received an investment of undisclosed amount from lower middle-market private equity Solis Capital Partners.
Solis has acquired a significant stake in the company, whose solutions enable its customers to automate critical and increasingly complex manual IT-related processes. In 2012, the company plans to continue to grow through a new Worldwide Channel Partner Program. It intends to add global partners across North America, Europe, Australia, South America and Southeast Asia, and markets such as utilities, finance and telecommunications.
Customers include Fortune-1000 companies with large, complex IT infrastructures.
Founded in 1999 and led by CEO Casey Kindiger, gen-E also has offices in:
