Sprouter Inc., a division of Postmedia Network and the creator of startup resource Sprouter.com, has just launched a new source for news on global tech innovation.
BetaKit will provide news and analysis on early-stage technology focusing on reporting on launches, funding, and acquisitions as well as highlight emerging trends in early-stage technology.
Sarah Prevette will oversee the publication, whose editorial team includes Erin Bury, who formerly held a communications role at Sprouter and Darrell Etherington, a senior writer from GigaOM.
It also has a team of contributors in global startup centres including Paris, London, Santiago, San Francisco, and New York City.
