Grey Wall Software LLC, a New Haven, Conn.-based company that has developed a web and mobile SaaS solution for enabling effective team collaboration and response during crisis situations and other disruptive events, has received funding from Connecticut Innovations’ Pre-Seed Fund.
The deal is part of a $450,000 total funding that Connecticut Innovations has provided to three Conn.-based startup technology companies.
The company’s solution could be used by municipalities, utilities, airports, universities, corporations and other organizations that require a coordinated team response for situations such as severe weather, accidents, and outages.
The service, which has been in beta for several months, is designed to offer process and situational awareness, optimize response effectiveness, work securely across organization boundaries, and reduce damage costs.
