Cambridge Broadband Networks Secures $7.0M Line of Credit from Silicon Valley Bank

Cambridge Broadband Networks Limited, a Cambridge, UK-based manufacturer of point-to-multipoint packet microwave backhaul solutions for mobile broadband network operators, has secured a $7.0m line of credit from Silicon Valley Bank, the commercial banking division of SVB Financial Group (Nasdaq: SIVB).

The financing will be used to support the company’s continued growth into new geographical markets and working capital needs.

Led by CEO Graham Peel, Cambridge Broadband Networks provides telecommunications operators with carrier-class wireless point-to-multipoint transmission equipment. To date, the company’s products have been deployed in more than 30 countries.
It has offices in Nigeria and South Africa and manufacturing facilities in China.
