BoomStartup Launches its 2012 Mentorship-Driven Investment Program

Orem, Utah-based BoomStartup has launched its Third Annual Mentorship-Driven investment program designed to provide money, mentoring and business connections to tech businesses.

In this year’s program, the seed investment will be increased to $20K and the value of its in-kind services such as tech infrastructure, office space and professional services from providers such as Rackspace, Paypal and Microsoft, to more than $80K. Participants will receive services from BTJD Bennett Tueller Johnson & Deere, P.C. law firm, CFO Solutions, and Grant Thornton Accounting.

BoomStartup will select up to 10 companies to participate in the 2012 program, which runs from May to August, to conclude with a Demo Day in Park City, Utah where participants will make their pitch to more than 100 angel investors and venture capitalists, to try to get additional funding and make connections to further accelerate their business.

More than 50 mentors are supporting the program including successful entrepreneurs, CEOs and investors.
