Symform Raises $2M in Series A Funding

Symform, a Seattle, WA-based cloud storage and backup service, has raised an additional $2m investment from WestRiver Capital in Series A funding.

Co-founded by President Praerit Garg and CTO Bassam Tabbara, and led by CEO Matthew Schiltz, the company has created a global, peer-to-peer data storage network that allows users to contribute unused, local storage in exchange for free or flat fee cloud storage. Symform offers up to 200GB of free storage and users decide how much storage space they want to contribute and can receive up to 200GB of free cloud storage for registering, contributing and referring friends or colleagues.
