Rigoni di Asiago Srl, an Asiago, Vicenza, Italy-based company that produces and markets organic fruit jams, has received a €14m investment from Fondo Italiano di Investimento.
The transaction, which was made in part through a minority equity investment and in part through a convertible loan, is expected to help the company to increase its capacity, and continue to grow in Italy and abroad by launching innovative products.
Led by CEO Andrea Rigoni, Rigoni di Asiago today offers organic jams (Fiordifrutta), chocolate and hazelnut creams (Nocciolata), natural sweeteners (Dolcedì), fruit desserts (Fruttosa), etc.
The company currently employs 100 people with an expected turnover of €63m in 2011.
