RCD Technology Raises $160K from BFTP/SEP

RCD Technology, a Quakertown – Bucks County, PA-based company that develops and manufactures high performance RFID (radio-frequency identification) tags, has raised $160k from Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania (BFTP/SEP).

Co-founded in 2001 by CTO Dr. Robert Oberle, Ph.D., and Vice President of Operations Sandra Garby, and led by CEO Ken Horton, the company has developed solutions in asset tracking, people tracking, vehicle access control, medical samples tracking, and national ID card markets.

Customers include the U.S. Department of State.
