KnowledgeVision Systems Raises $2M in Series A Funding

KnowledgeVision Systems, a Concord, Massachusetts-based provider of cloud-based tools and services for creating online, on-demand and live multimedia presentations, has raised an additional $2m in Series A funding.

The round was led by GrandBanks Capital.

The company plans to use the capital to continue accelerating its market development activities worldwide.

Led by founder and CEO Michael Kolowich, KnowledgeVision provides tools (KVStudio and Knovio) that allows clients to create synchronized online video and audio presentations, which combine communicators with PowerPoint slides, web pages and applications and supplemental material, and make them available from web browsers and mobile devices.
The company’s presentations are used in the Americas, Europe, and Asia for sales and marketing, training and professional development, and communications with customers, employees, and investors.
Among the others, clients include Alcatel-Lucent, Bain Capital, Progress Software, Equifax, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and Oxfam America.
