Ix Innovations, an Ann Arbor, MI-based company that provides products designed to enhance the usability of electrical test and measurement instrumentation, has received an equity funding from the Michigan Pre-Seed Capital Fund.
The investment is part of a $585k amount the fund has injected in three Michigan start ups.
The company intends to use the funding to hire key managers, accelerate research activities and bring its instruments to market.
Led by president Ian Dailey, Ix Innovations’ products are used throughout science and engineering, in diverse fields including low power electronics, energy harvesting, and in teaching labs worldwide. Its first product to market was the PocketPico picoammeter – a sensitive instrument that measures electrical current down to trillionths of an ampere. The company is currently working to develop additional low power instrumentation under the PocketPico brand as well as products for the broader test & measurement industry.
