Invested.in Joins Amplify.LA

Invested.in, a social platform designed to help users raise capital, is to receive up to $50k as a one of the first five participants in the intensive, mentor-driven program of Startup accelerator Amplify.LA.

In the context of the program, the startup will also receive dedicated office space, hands-on mentor meetings, introductions to investors and a three year hiatus on city taxes.

Co-founded by Alon Goren and Yadid Ramot, Invested.in allows users to raise money for anything, leveraging their existing social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc.. It also offers licensing and partnership deals to larger entities for their own customized “crowdfunding” platforms.

Based in Los Angeles, California, Amplify.LA is designed to help members grow their companies. Its program operates from a 10,000 square foot entrepreneurial campus originally designed by architect, Steven Ehrlich.
