GirlsGuideTo Closes Seed Funding

GirlsGuideTo, a social advice platform that allows women to share information about coping with everyday life, has closed a seed funding.

Backers include CincyTech, which led the round with a $200k investment and supported GirlsGuideTo’s move to Cincinnati.
The company will keep an office in Los Angeles, where it was founded.

GirlsGuideTo intends to use the funding to launch additional features, increase audience as well as hire sales and marketing staff.

Founded by Brette Borow, GirlsGuideTo provides women news, tips and advice. It has a Facebook community with more than 130,000 fans and 50,000 female members.
